Change the Board

We are currently stuck in limbo with the Hall’s owning 40% of the club and the Shepherds 28% no one else can get a look in.

The Hall’s want to sell as they need the cash but currently can’t find a buyer who’s prepared to sit alongside Shepherd

Shepherd won’t sell but can’t raise the funds to buy the Hall’s out.

Meanwhile the club gridlocks and continues to go no where.

Solving this is not going to be easy, there are various things the fan’s can do:

Boycott the merchandise, the season tickets the cup matches etc
Problem with that is it’s both difficult to organise and any reduction in income will put off prospective buyers and increase our growing debt

Sell the shares
Any weakening of the share price creates buying opportunity for the Shepherds to buy more shares

Buy the shares
Better idea though the higher they go the more the Halls will demand from prospective buyers

So what can we do ??
Well we can lobby the press though they all pretty much know what is going on.

Best thing is to believe the club should be competing for the Champions league, don’t accept any lame excuses why it is not, vocally criticise failure and find some prospective buyers and lobby them.

Our only real hope is that someone will realise the massive potential of this football club and make an irresistible offer to both the Hall’s and Shepherd’s to get rid of them and introduce some effective management of our football club.
