Next Premier League Manager to leave 2012/13 - manager 1
« on: August 17, 2012, 10:02:07 pm »
First man under the cosh has to be the high profile Andres Villas Boas.

The criticism of him at Chelsea was that he couldn't organise a team to defend and he could not handle the senior players.

A bad start for Tottenham with a few goals leaked and he will be hounded out by the press.

Personally I'd look a little further north west and spot an Irishman man at Liverpool shipping 3 goals to West Brom...lose the crowd at Anfield and Roy Hodgson can tell you what comes next...

I was thinking Big Sam at west ham was looking at an early contender after they came a cropper (big time) in their last game. But A C from Liverpool will keep the wolves at bay for a bit!

Villas Boas has just presided over Tottenham's worst league start since Harry Redknapp took charge and goalkeeper Brad Friedal was man of the match.

Villas Boas has yet to secure a win as Tottenham manager and his team were boo'd off the pitch by the home fans.

So I'm seeing no reason to change my prediction yet.

I think Spurs will stick with AVB for a while yet, they've not been good yet but their signings have started playing well already. Lloris is a top quality keeper, though as mentioned on MOTD last night I wouldn't wanna be the one that has to tell Friedel he isn't starting the next game!

My money would go on Allardyce being first to get the bullet - Hammers fans have never really warmed to him apparently and everyone wants to see Arry Redknap back in the Premier League

I've heard the Sunderland fans have never really warmed to Martin O'Neill because they don't like change, he wins too many matches.

We've always dreamed of Sam Allardyce managing Sunderland.

I never did understand why Sunderland got rid of Steve Bruce who was doing such a good job of carrying on the club tradition of trying to get the lowest points total ever in a Premier League season  :)

Hmmmm, just been at Villa Park today watching Aston Villa against Swansea.

Dreadful match, worst game of football I've seen since Villa last played at home.

But Swansea and Michael Laudrup, could see them parting company soon if Swansea are bottom at Christmas and I think there is a good chance of that.

I'm going for Adkins of Southampton fame. I can't see them picking up more than 1 point in their next three matches. That would give the owner no choice but to act (1 point from 7 games :o)

I'm going to switch to Hughes@QPR

I suppose a lot depends upon where Harry Redknapp wants to go next.

He could possibly be waiting for the QPR job to become available from the very grim Mark Hughes.

You definitely feel there could be one or two Premier League managers gone before Christmas this season.

You gotta hope it won't be your man, if they sack Pardew now it'll be an 8 year payout for that lad - he must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Hughes to go and Arry to step into the brink there

Blimey alot has changed in here since I last remembered...

I'm tempted to say that there will be no more managerial changes in the rest of the season...but maybe its too early to assume that...so I'm gonna have to say the Villa boss, Lambert. All the other teams have ether stuck with their current manager in similar situations or are doing well just to be in this league

Lambert might be a good call, but I'll go for Martin Jol, Fulham are garbage!

Any spot Di Matteo, Hughes & Adkins leave recently? All of which were replaced within 24hrs...suggests that the people that be are now lining up replacements before the position actually opens up...
