England world cup qualifies 2012/14
« on: September 08, 2012, 09:13:01 am »
Chaps i thought i would set this up so as not to distract us from the premier league and the down fall of the mackems !

so at the moment t4t,m2,mrmalaki& slam dunc are on equal points? of 3 each after the first game against Moldovia

T4t you Will need to show me how to set up league table.

Missed the first round on this as well !!! If Slam Dunc can figure out how to create a league I'll go England 2 Ukraine 0.

Surely you mean "Qualifiers" not "Qualifies" SD? ... or are you just REALLY confident and think we're through already?

I've been doing some research on Englands mighty opponents tonight.

Ukraine star player Anatoliy Tymoshchuk is a big doubt.

They have lost four of their last five matches against us.

We beat them 1-0 at the Euro's.

So it's a case of how many will we win by.

England 1 Ukraine 0

England to win 2 - 0, Ukraine to moan about another perfectly good goal being ruled out for no apparent reason!

Well back to our old ways again-bit shocking and not many points scored with our predictors this evening!

Think the World Cup qualifier table looks like this:

             points       predictions
Slam Dunc  4                 2
mrmalaki     4                 2
mackem2    3                 2
T4t            3                  2
Tooncelona 0                 1

As mentioned earlier tough titty if you forget to put your prediction in.

Hey look at that iam top- wicked!

See you all in about 4weeks time for some more fun and games!

Should M2 get some sort of credit for a disallowed goal causing controversy?

Had to laugh at the headline in the Daily Mail today "injury scare for England as Lampard is injured.

Well we are playing San Marino at Wembley on Friday night, thats the might of the Premiership against a team who have never won a competitive match and have the smallest population of all registered UEFA football team.

Well we desperately need Frank Lampard for this one then.

It's a tricky prediction this one, how about:

England 6 San Marino 0

I'll take a stab at

5-1 - with theirs being an own goal knocked in from a corner by...Ashley Cole, well he seems to like scoring own goals against the FA so...

England should be OK on Friday night, even without Fat Frank's injury and Bertrands "sore throat". All they need to do is keep it tight for the first 10 seconds (everyone remember what happened during the qualifiers in 1993?).

Going to let my 7 year old lad stay up and watch this one as surely this is the way to get him to believe England are unstoppable before ruining his hopes and dreams by years of performing to our actual ability rather than as the world-beaters pundits and journalists alike appear to believe we are.

As he's 7 then it only seems right to predict 7 - 0 which will include a Tom Clevely hat-trick.
