Wakey wakey England fans. I know this match is not one of our games for the world cup qualifiers but we can have a bit of a practice trying to figure out R H ability to manage the national team.

  England 2-3 Brasil

Not got a clue who is playing.

England 2 - 2 Brazil

36 players to play a part in the game and Ashley Cole to get a luke-warm reception on his 100th cap.

San Marinio at home.

This is a points game for our England qualifier predictions league, so do not forget to predict.

Rio Ferdinand not playing because he was picked to play after not being picked to play for a while, and now dosnt want to play because.. anyone know why he is not playing???

 England 5-0 San Marinio

Brazil here we come,
1970 anyone old enough to remember that world cup?

No Ed, you're the only one who remembers the 1970 World Cup, did Stanley Matthews play in that  ???

As for the England v San Marino match.

I'm still not over the Callum McManaman incident yet and have banned myself from watching football till I am.

The timing of that is very fortunate otherwise I might well have tuned in to this turgid affair.

San Marino in size is 24 square miles with a population of 31,735 and they have never won a competitive football match.

Meanwhile we panic over who will play centre back in the remote chance San Marino cross the half way line.

Unless Mark Halsey refs the match and allows the San Marino players to kill the England players without punishment I can only see this going one way:
England 8 San Marino 0

I refuse to believe that i am the only predictor who remembers the world cup in Mexico 1970; t4t!!!
Yes that Wigan match still has the blood boiling, the only "good" thing is that our guy ,as you mentioned has got a bit of recovery time. Anyone know how he is at all?

Back to the 1970 world cup, there was a record set by a Brazilian player that has not yet been equaled in a world cup final tournament. Name the player and what record did he set?

1970 will be the one where a player scored in every game of the tournament (6 games in total). But still lost out to muller on the golden boot after Muller scored consecutive hattricks. Can't remember the name but it wasn't pele.

Nice 1 mrmalaki nearly there:  yep Jazinnio (got to check that spelling) became the first player to score in every round of a world cup tournament, don't think he was an out and out forward player but the team was so good everyone was a potential goal scorer, bit like the Spanish team at the moment!!!!

Question 2
Gordon Banks made one of the greatest saves in world football when he clawed away a 'goal' from a Pele header, however Banks could not play for England in the next game against Germany. Who replaced him in goal?

I fprgot to say that todays England match against San Marino would count in the predictions league.

Also the Gordon Banks replacement was Peter Bonetti who was blamed for the 3-2 defeat along with Sir Alf Ramsay for substituting Bobby Charlton.

Not that I can remember the 1970 World Cup  :)
