Craig's Photography Adventures

Most of you will be aware I'm partial to taking the odd photo. I may have mentioned it in other posts but I've become slightly more serious at taking pictures in the last few months. In fact I've raised my game again to the point where I'm now at Newcastle most Saturday afternoons to capture the action on the field.

I've also had the pleasure of spending three days at the Davis Cup in Glasgow as GB narrowly lost out to Argentina.

The good news is that being at Newcastle means I no longer need to shell out 42 a month on my season ticket (or I can sell it off to the lad next to me). The slightly bad news is that because I'm based in Scotland I don't exactly have a wealth of other teams I can get to without adding to a 3 hour drive. I've already done Carlisle but there is limited interest in them outside of local papers and Hearts have been mentioned as a potential Scottish option.

Moving into 2017 I'm looking to continue to cover Newcastle for the agency but also explore alternative options. The boss brought up 'the dark place' in an email last night so it seems I could be set to make my Premier League debut shortly. (sitting down the end that the away team are attacking no doubt) I'm also hopeful of a return to the tennis and will be applying for Roland Garros or Wimbledon. The agency has never been in to a Grand Slam and it was through my own contacts that I helped deliver them the Davis Cup so I hope to be able to expand on that and move us into a bigger market.

I will use this thread going forward to drop a link to my images and perhaps share a little more about how things work.

Craig, that's great news and great photo's. I've seen that some of your photo's have been appearing in the national papers.

Looks to me like you're going to have to go global and get a place down South to open up the opportunities and cut down the travelling  :)  :)

Here's an update with shots from the 4-0 win at home against Birmingham yesterday. A few of these have made the BBC and Guardian websites.
